Crash course in Russian language –
Getting familiar with the alphabets and reading single and double syllable words. Introduction to formal and informal greetings. Learning self-introduction. Introduction to Russian Numbers. Description of family members. Revisiting concepts
1 Introduction to time expressions. Expressions regarding days, months and years. Comprehending simple passages. Expressions regarding Russian names. Expressions regarding: I have/ I don’t have. Revisiting concepts
2 Cumulative Assessment 1 Expressions regarding making a telephonic call. Shopping expressions. Asking for an address. Intermediate level expressions pertaining to special occasions. Learning social etiquettes phrases. Revisiting concepts
3 Getting familiar with the hand written alphabets. Meeting and greeting an unknown person. Directional phrases. Getting familiar with ordinal numbers. Comprehending intermediate level of passages. Revisiting Concepts
4 Expressions regarding hobbies. Describing one’s profession. Restaurant level expressions. Making hotel reservations Cumulative Assessment 2.
Prerequisites:
Students of Grade 6 and above, who wish to capitalize their vacations by learning new skills
Aspiring polyglots who wish to enhance their multi- dimensional linguistic skills.
College students who have opted Russian as main or subsidiary paper.
